The ADAPT Club was awarded a grant through the Department of Health and Human Services to conduct tobacco prevention trainings and reduce youth access to tobacco in their community.
Club members attend prevention conferences across the country to learn the science behind prevention and to develop evidence-based plans to address substance use issues in their community.
EDUCATING OTHER YOUTH
Whether it's hosting information booths, creating prevention messaging, or facilitating Generation Rx trainings at local middle schools, the ADAPT Club is passionate about educating the next generation of preventionists!
2019 TRI-LAKES TEEN TURNOUT
The coalition is hosted its first-ever T3 for Prevention event on April 6 at Hollister Coffee Company. Area youth learned about prevention, developed leadership skills, and learned how to create initiatives within their own communities!
